The Ask
To mark Google Earth’s 20th anniversary, remind people why they love it with a look back at two decades of innovation and intrigue while also inspiring excitement with a look forward to where it could take us next.
The Work
For 20 years, we’ve been asking Google Earth questions about the world we live in. So we created a campaign rooted in the sense of playful exploration behind our curiosity. Through ??? and ??? videos, we asked our audience to ponder Google Earth’s capabilities and its potential to shape a better future for individuals, communities, and the planet.
The Difference
The #onEarth campaign performed strongly, amassing 255,100 total views across four campaign videos on YouTube.
